Johnny Richter

Johnny Richter, born Tim McNutt in Placentia, CA, is a member of the rap group The Kottonmouth Kings which blends punk rock and hip hop for a combination called rip-hop. He is also a member of the SubNoize Souljaz and Kingspade.

During Richter's childhood he was transferred through six different schools and placed in rehab twice. When he was sixteen he was shipped off to boarding school due to his troubles. He makes reference to his troubled past on the album Kottonmouth Kings No.7 in the song "P-Town". Throughout his childhood he was also friends with his now fellow bandmate D-Loc (aka Dustin Miller; "Shakey Bones"). He grew up being a fan of classic rock, specifically the Grateful Dead, Led Zeppelin, and Jimi Hendrix.
