Johnny Kastl

Johnny Kastl is an actor known primarily for playing the role of Dr. Doug Murphy on NBC sitcom Scrubs. He was born in Oklahoma, and Scrubs was his first major role. He has also appeared in small parts in major Hollywood productions.
He attended Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, where he double-majored in biology and drama. He acted in many plays and was a co-founder and active member of a student sketch comedy group called "The Kaktabulz."
