John Zibell is a New York City independent filmmaker and actor in New York and Regional Theater.

He studied acting with Mike Nichols, Paul Sills and George Morrison at the New Actor's Workshop in Manhattan. He has worked with directors Diane Paulus and Shira Piven. He directed and acted in the movie Sex and Violence.
