John Welborn (born September 8, 1970) is an Australian rugby union player, who plays at the lock position. He is currently a squad member of the Western Force in the Super 14, and is a former Wallaby. He was the first Western Australian player to represent Australia in rugby union, and played six matches for the Wallabies.
During his career, Welborn has played for CA Brive in Ligue Nationale de Rugby's TOP 14 division, the Natal Sharks in the Currie Cup, and for the Leicester Tigers in the Guinness Premiership.
Welborn attended Scotch College in Perth for a period of his schooling.
