Born March 15th 1990 -
A stylish old fashioned left handed middle order batsman, he made an immediate impact upon arrival at his college in Adelaide. A batsman who can adapt to any circumstances, Vaughan-Williams has had many important roles and many highlights in his career. He has been involved in partnerships which have rescued innings' and also contributed to late over hard hitting when called upon.
Not only a popular batsman, has he worked wonders with the ball, including a memorable 5-for, when one critic had all but written him off. An economical right arm med/fast bowler who has an ability to hit the spot comparable to recently retired Glenn McGrath.
Extremely popular among team-mates Vaughan-Williams has put his own stamp on a classical batting technique, but, unfortunatuly, has too often been on the receiving end of disgraceful umpiring decisions.
He continues to intimidate opposition with a tall stance and classy stroke play. An all round cricketer with an extensive knowledge of the game.
