John Van Boxmeer

John Van Boxmeer (born November 20, 1952 in Petrolia, Ontario) is a retired former professional ice hockey player who has also served as a coach.
Van Boxmeer began his professional career by travelling to Moscow for the 1972 Summit Series - he never played as he was the junior hockey representative for the team. He spent his career with the Montreal Canadiens, Colorado Rockies, Buffalo Sabres and Quebec Nordiques.
Since retiring he has served as the head coach of the Rochester Americans and the Long Beach Ice Dogs, and has also been an assistant coach with the Los Angeles Kings.
