John Tsitouris

John Tsitouris (born May 4, 1936 in Monroe, North Carolina), is a former professional baseball player who pitched in the Major Leagues from 1957-1960 and 1962-1968.

• On September 21, 1964, Tsitouris throws a 1-0 shutout for the Reds over the Phillies.

• On November 20, 1957, he was traded by the Detroit Tigers with a player to be named later, Kent Hadley, Frank House, Duke Maas, Jim Small, and Bill Tuttle to the Kansas City Athletics for Gus Zernial, Billy Martin, Tom Morgan, Lou Skizas, Mickey McDermott, and Tim Thompson. The Detroit Tigers sent Jim McManus on April 3, 1958 to the Kansas City Athletics to complete the trade.

• On January 25, 1961 he was traded by the Kansas City Athletics with John Briggs to the Cincinnati Reds for Joe Nuxhall.
