John Tropea

John Tropea is a guitarist who was famous in the 1970s. He performed a guitar solo in Super Strut, a song by Eumir Deodato on the album Deodato2 (released by CTI in 1973). He also toured with Laura Nyro and appeared on her live album. He currently tours with The Blues Brothers. He also composed the song "Tambourine", which was used as the close for WABC's Eyewitness News broadcasts from 1977 to 1980.
