John Sorenson

John Sorensen (B. Comm., B.Mus., M.Mus., LLB, LLM candidate) is a Canadian recording engineer, known for his work with the Rolling Stones (Bridges to Babylon), the Red Hot Chili Peppers (Californication), Beck (Mutations), Luis Miguel (Amarte Es Un Placer), Dave Douglas (Bow River Falls), Chucho Valdes (Afrocubanismo! Live), Don Thompson (Moonwalk) and others. He was an assistant engineer at Ocean Way Recording and assistant/staff engineer and technologist at Cello Studios in Hollywood, and taught audio at The Banff Centre in Banff, AB. His current focus is jazz recording.
