John Sharp (actor)

John Sharp (5 August 1920 Bradford, Yorkshire - 26 November 1992 London, England) was a British television actor.

He made nearly 80 appearances in telelvision and occasionally films between 1949 and 1991. He appeared in many major British TV sereis in the 1960s. He played in The Avengers episodes "Murdersville" , Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased) (1969) and Z Cars. Sharp began as a film actor in 1949 and featured in films throughout the 1950s but by the mid 1960s mostly appeared in British television.

Appearing in many Charles Dickens TV adaptions in the 1980s his last appereance was in 1991 in Love Joy. He died in 1992.
