John Ryan (Irish politician)

John Ryan (born 17 June 1927) is a retired Irish Labour Party politician. He was first elected to Dáil Éireann in the 1973 general election as a TD for Tipperary North. He was re-elected in each subsequent general election until he lost his seat in 1987 general election. He was elected to the Industrial and Commercial Panel of the 19th Seanad in 1989. In the 1992 general election he re-gained his Dáil seat in Tipperary North. He retired at the 1997 general election.
