John Ready

Major General The Honourable John Ready (c. 1777July 10, 1845) was a British army officer, who served as Lieutenant Governor of Prince Edward Island from 1824 to 1831 and also as Lieutenant Governor of the Isle of Man from 1832 to 1845. He died in Castletown on the Isle of Man and was buried on the island with full military honours.
