John Paul Potter was born in Dunfermline on the 15th of December 1979 and plays for St. Mirren as a defender. He started his career at Celtic but made no appearances, moving onto Dunfermline Athletic in 1999. He then went onto play for Clyde before moving to St. Mirren in 2005.
