John P. S. Gobin

John Peter Shindel Gobin (January 21, 1837-May 1, 1910) was the Lieutenant Governor of Pennsylvania from 1899 to 1903.
Gobin served as a General in the Union Army during the Civil War. He was a member of Pennsylvania State Senate from 1885-99. He was a Member of the Freemasons, Knights Templar, and Odd Fellows. He served as Grand Master of the Grand Encampment of Knights Templar in North America from 1889 to 1892. He was Interred at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery in Lebanon, Pennsylvania.
