John Nutter (born June 13, 1982) is a footballer who currently plays for Stevenage Borough. He signed in the summer of 2006 from Grays Athletic. He has also played for Blackburn Rovers, Aldershot and Wycombe Wanderers.
He plays at left back and made his Stevenage debut against Altrincham on 12/8/2006 and scored his first goal (which was a penalty) in the 3-2 win against Woking on 3/10/2006. Nutter has played every game this season for Stevenage Borough and has been an un-sung hero in the side. His defensive, as well as attacking play has impressed the Broadhall Way faithful this season - he is definitely growing as a player as time goes on and Mark Stimson picked the right player to join him from Essex to Hertfordshire. Nutter is Borough's penalty taker, scoring both his goals from the penalty spot in his 28 league and cup appearances.
