John Normington

John Normington (born 28 January 1937 in Dukinfield, Cheshire) is a British actor.
He has appeared in many television and film roles including Yes Minister, the 1978 film version of The Thirty-Nine Steps, the 1987 television show My Family and Other Animals and 2001's Love in a Cold Climate. He has twice guest starred in BBC's science fiction series Doctor Who, first as Morgus in The Caves of Androzani (1984) and later as Trevor Sigma in The Happiness Patrol (1988). In 2006 he also appeared in Ghost Machine, an episode of the Doctor Who spin-off series Torchwood.
He has been a regular performer with the Royal Shakespeare Company since 1963.
