John Morse

John Paul Morse (born February 16, 1958) is an American professional golfer who has played on the PGA Tour and the Nationwide Tour.
Morse was born and raised in Marshall, Michigan. He attended the University of Michigan and was an All-American member of the golf team and Big-10 Champion in 1980. He turned pro in 1981.
Morse began his career playing in tournaments in and around Michigan; he later played on the Florida Tour, the PGA Tour of Australasia, the European Tour and the Nike Tour (now called the Nationwide Tour).[1] Morse has 15 top-10 finishes in Nationwide Tour events including a win at the 1993 NIKE New England Classic. He earned his PGA Tour card by finishing fifth on the 1993 Nationwide Tour money list, and joined the PGA Tour in 1994 at the age of 35.
Morse has eight top-10 finishes in PGA Tour events including a win at the 1995 United Airlines Hawaiian Open. His best finish in a major championship is a solo 4th at the 1996 U.S. Open.
