John Martino

John Martino (born 1937) is an American actor.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, he began his singing and acting career as a teenager. He studied with John Cassettes, American Academy of Dramatic Arts and Universal Art Studios, which led to off-Broadway theater in Hat Full of Rain, he then had a hit song called Baby Sitting Baby that landed him on American Bandstand. Shortly thereafter, Martino moved to California to pursue his acting career.
Martino landed a role in The Wild Wild West in which he became a member of the Screen Actors Guild. He had many acting roles but his big break was when he landed the role of Paulie Gatto in Francis Ford Coppola's The Godfather. Martino's career has brought him back and forth between New York and California, he now lives in Central Florida with his wife and their two sons. He is currently pursuing his writing career and has numerous projects in the works. He reprised his Paulie Gatto role in the Electronic Arts video game of The Godfather. He is also the creator of Hollywood Movie Hair Products, which hit stores in late 2006.
