John Marshall High School (New York)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

John Marshall High School is located on 180 Rideway Ave Rochester, New York located near Kodak.

The school was opened in the late 1930's and the school population was made up of a white population. The school's population is now mostly African Americian. It is home to a law academy and video classes. It has the "Jurist" room which is its own business of foods. The school also has 2 gyms, 1 large auditorium, 4 floors, a football field, a softball, a baseball diamond track, and a swimming pool. It also has its own health clinic within the school that students and teachers can use for medical reasons. It has after programs such as Band, the Mock trail team, chess, masterminds, J.R.O.T.C. (which is also a class along with the law), and sport teams. The major programs are football, track and field, wrestling, baseball, and softball.

Apparently, though, no academics are emphasized at this school, as the original article talks about its food business, its sports facilities, its health clinic, its after school programs, and its sports. Do they teach literature, history, mathematics, languages, or anything of substance????

Why are there no hyperlinks to other Wikipedia articles, or even a link to the school's own web site???
