John Mahon

John Mahon is a professional percussionist and backing vocalist, most noted for his recent work with Elton John. He grew up in Ohio, and was attraced to music when he joined a local drum/bugle club. He grew up listening to music by Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, and Moody Blues, among many others. When he is not touring, he enjoys mountain biking and sculpture. Often confused with the enigmatic John Anthony Mahon from Sligo.
