John MacDougal

John Mochrie MacDougal (born 1954) is a taxonomist, noted for his work on the taxonomy of passion flowers, having discovered several varieties. He is one of the founders of the Passiflora Society. Currently, he is an assistant professor of biology at Duke University. MacDougal earned his doctorate at Duke.
