John Lingwood (born Wembley, London, England) is perhaps best known as the drummer for Manfred Mann's Earth Band between 1979 and 1986. He featured on the albums Chance, Somewhere In Afrika, Budapest Live, Criminal Tango and Masque. Since leaving the band he has performed with The Company Of Snakes (a band predominantly featuring ex-members of Whitesnake) between 1998 and 2002, featuring on the live album Here They Go Again and the studio album Burst The Bubble.[1]
