John Lewis on Oxford Street, London is the flagship department store of the John Lewis Partnership. It opened in 1864.

John Lewis Kingston is a department store in Kingston upon Thames, Surrey, England and a branch of the John Lewis Partnership. Departments are arranged across six selling-floors with a Waitrose supermarket occupying the basement level. John Lewis Kingston is unique for its unusual features and location. It is the only department store located directly alongside the River Thames. A dual-carriageway runs diagonally through the building. The store was designed by architects Ahrends, Burton & Koralek and opened in 1990.

John Lewis Liverpool is the largest shop in the north-west of England. Until 2001 the store was called George Henry Lee (and is still popularly known as Lee's). It was founded in 1853 and later acquired by Selfridge Provincial Stores. It was bought by the John Lewis Partnership in 1940. The store, under the name George Henry Lee, is mentioned in Willy Russel's musical Blood Brothers. It had a reputation for being the most upmarket of the department stores in Liverpool, with Lewis's and Owen Owen somewhat less esteemed, and Blackler's and TJ Hughes being some distance downmarket.

John Lewis Nottingham is a department store in Nottingham, England. Formerly called Jessops, the name of the store was changed to 'John Lewis' in 2002 following a refurbishment and the addition of a new selling-floor. The shop has a sound local reputation and is still referred to as 'Jessops' by many people in Nottingham. The store was established in 1804 in Long Row, moving to King Street in 1897. On 27th April 1933 Jessop & Son was acquired by the John Lewis Partnership to become their first branch outside London. Expansion and rebuilding works to the King Street premises in the 1960s were succeeded by a move to the new Victoria Centre in 1972.

John Lewis Sheffield is a John Lewis Partnership department store in Sheffield, England. The name of the store was changed from Cole Brothers to John Lewis in 2002. Cole Brothers was a long standing Sheffield department store that had been founded by John, Thomas, and Skelton Cole in 1847. The current location of the store was earlier where the Albert Hall Cinema/Picture House stood in Barkers Pool but was demolished, which was not far from where the Cole Brothers original store was located on the corner (Coles Corner). The store is due to be relocated to the city's new retail quarter in 2009.

John Lewis Solihull is the only John Lewis in the West Midlands. It was opened in 2001 at 265,000 sq in the touchwood shopping centre.

John Lewis Southampton is a department store in Southampton, Hampshire, England. Originally established in 1897 as Tyrrell & Green, the John Lewis Partnership acquired the store in 1934. The Southampton premises were destroyed by enemy action in 1940 with a new building opening in 1956 and later extended. Sir Stuart Hampson, current chairman of the John Lewis Partnership was Managing Director, Tyrrell & Green, prior to his appointment to the board of directors. The name of the store was changed to 'John Lewis' following a relocation from Above Bar to the new West Quay shopping centre in 2000.

John Lewis Watford is a department store located within The Harlequin shopping centre in Watford, Hertfordshire, England. The store was called Trewin Brothers until its move from Queen's Road to its present location in 1990. At this time the name was formally changed to Trewins and then to 'John Lewis' in 2001.The store was founded in 1880 by Arthur Trewin and acquired by Selfridge Provincial Stores in 1918. It was purchased by the John Lewis Partnership in 1940.

John Lewis Welwyn is a department store in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, England. The store is part of the John Lewis Partnership group. The store traded as Welwyn Stores (established 1921) until its acquisition by John Lewis in 1983.
