John Leslie Foster

John Leslie Foster (c. 1781 – 10 July 1842) was an Irish Tory Member of Parliament (MP) in the United Kingdom Parliament.
He represented Dublin University from 1807 to 1812, having first contested the seat in 1806. From 1816 to 1818 he was member for Yarmouth, a rotten borough on the Isle of Wight which could be relied upon to return government nominees.
In the 1818 general election, he was elected for both Lisburn and Armagh City. He chose to sit for the latter constituency and served from 1818 to 1820.
From 1824 to 1830 he was the MP for County Louth.
