John Langford

Dr. John Langford is the President of Aurora Flight Sciences. After managing the near record breaking Daedalus human powered aircraft project as a student at MIT, Langford founded Aurora Flight Sciences in order to design and manufacture high altitude UAVs that could be used for global climate change research.

Dr. John Langford is a Research Associate at the Toyota Technological Institute at Chicago. He earned a PhD in computer science from Carnegie Mellon University in 2002. He has worked in the past at IBM's Watson Research Center in Yortown, NY. His work includes research in machine learning, game theory, steganography, and Captchas.
