John Krizanc

John Krizanc was born in Lethbridge, Alberta in 1956 and established an international reputation with his non-linear work, Tamara. Its Toronto production (directed by Richard Rose) won him a Dora Mavor Moore Award in 1982.

Krizanc has won the Chalmers Award and the Governor General's Award for his work. His plays are marked by his explorations not only with structure and space but also with the role of the artist.
