From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

John Hogan (b. 1974) of Bradley Stoke near Bristol, was on holiday in Crete in August 2006 when he fell 50 feet from a hotel balcony with his two children and then faced a possible murder charge after his son, Liam, six, died in the fall. His two-year-old daughter, Mia, also fell. She suffered a broken arm, but was later discharged from hospital. The fall was from a fourth floor balcony at the Petra Mare Hotel in Ierapetra, on the south coast of the island. [1]
