John Hersey High School, or Hersey, is a public four-year high school located in Arlington Heights, Illinois, a northwest suburb of Chicago, Illinois, in the United States. It is part of Township High School District 214, which also includes Buffalo Grove High School, Elk Grove High School, Prospect High School, Rolling Meadows High School, and Wheeling High School.

Recently, John Hersey High School was rated the 4th best High School in the state of Illinois by Newsweek and was rated 206th[1] Its average SAT score was 1236.[2] 93.3% of its senior class went on to a 2 or 4-year college.[3] Hersey has made Adequate Yearly Progress on the Prairie State Achievement Examination, a state test that comprises a part of the No Child Left Behind Act.[4]

Hersey competes in the Mid-Suburban Conference and Illinois High School Association. Its mascot is the Huskie.
