John Henson is best known as the former executive producer and host of Talk Soup on the E! Entertainment channel. A non-pigmented patch of hair that runs horizontally across the right side of his head has earned him the nickname "skunkboy" (which, according to The Soup's retrospective about Talk Soup, is a result of vitiligo). John hosted the 33rd Annual Daytime Creative Arts Emmy Awards also was the host of the short-lived The John Henson Project on Spike TV. John Henson currently hosts various programs on the TV Guide Channel.

Talk Soup was a daily round up of the best highlights from morning, daytime and late night talk shows. During his 4 1/2 - year tenure, John hosted over 1,100 shows, took Talk Soup to Tahiti and Australia, and performed live to a sold out audience at the Chicago Theatre. Many people believe John was the best host of Talk Soup, with his sarcastic dry wit and smooth delivery, but still many consider the show's original host Greg Kinnear as the best host the show ever had.

An actor/comedian, Henson began his professional career as a stand-up comic. With his animated stage presence and unique style, he soon began headlining top comedy clubs around the country. Trained as a dramatic actor, Henson has appeared in movies, on television and on stage. In 1998, he appeared opposite of Ben Gazara, Kevin Dillon and Andrew McCarthy in the feature, Stag, and co-starred in the film Bar Hopping with Tom Arnold, Kelly Preston, Sally Kellerman and Kevin Nealon.
