John Henry of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, 10th Prince of Kohary

Johannes Henry Frederick Werner Conrad Rainer Maria of Saxe-Coburg-Kohary, Prince of Kohary and Duke of Saxony, in Slovak: Ján Hanrich, in Hungarian: Janos Henrik, in German: Johann Heinrich Friedrich Werner Konrad Rainer Maria von Sachsen-Coburg-Kohary (b. Innsbruck, 28 March 1931), is the 10th and current Head of the princely house of Kohary and a (former) Hungarian magnate, being also a prince from the house of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha.

He is the only son of Rainer of Saxe-Coburg, 9th Prince of Kohary, and Johanna Károlyi de Károly-Patty, the latter's first wife. After the death of his father under mysterious circumstances (1945), he succeded him in the Headship of the line of Kohary and used the title Jan Henrich, Johannes Henry, Prince of Kohary.

In Munich on 24 October 1957 Johann Heinrich married firstly with the Freifrau (Baroness) Gabrielle of Fürstenberg. They have one daughter:

  1. Felicitas Franziska Johanna Maria Gabriela Elisabeth Pauline Helene Stephanie Leopoldine Alexandra Sophie Mathilde Josepha Anna Karoline Immaculata Emanuela (b. Sorengo, 6 April 1958), married on 15 November 1997 to Sergei Trotzky.

Johann Heinrich and Gabrielle were divorced in 1968.

In Munich on 12 November 1968 Johann Heinrich married secondly with the Princess Mathilde of Saxony, doctor of Medicine, a granddaughter of the King Frederick Augustus III of Saxony. They had one son:

  1. John Albert Leopold Frederick Christian (b. Innsbruck, 17 November 1969 - killed in skiing accident, Ortler, 21 August 1987).
