John Heiden

John Heiden is an American graphic designer whose work has been featured prominently on the packaging of album covers, single sleeves, cassette inserts, compact disc booklets, and slip cases. He is married to industry peer and fellow graphic designer, Jeri MacManus, with whom he has collaborated on a substantial and mutual body of work. Both had worked under Jeff Ayeroff in the Warner Bros. Records art department. Heiden founded SMOG Design Group, which employs six designers with Jeri Heiden and John as codirectors. The couple live in California and have two dogs, Jack and Ripley.
