John Harrigan

John Harrigan is, among other things a writer, director, actor and founder of FoolishPeople. FoolishPeople was founded in 1991 as the name under which John Harrigan developed and created live art, with the ultimate purpose of hacking into reality. Plays written by John Harrigan and produced by FoolishPeople are Enochian: Language of Angels, Revelations: Fear the mind, The Singularity and Ruined Steel.

Harrigan directed and acted in the premieres of Enochian, Revelations, The Singularity and Ruined Steel.

As an actor Harrigan has appeared in Ygydrasil in Yex sanctuary by Cathy Godffrey, Rockerella by Kirk Foster, Black Comedy by Greg McQueen and The Ubu Plays By Alfred Jarry which was directed by Patrick Maber.

Harrigan Choreographed and Danced in the Contemporary Dance piece Void For an English schools tour, director Greg McQueen later made Void into a short experimental film.

Harrigan has written one Book of prose entitled Vacuum and is currently finishing a book of prose and photography titled THE BOOK OF HATE and a graphic novel titled WET SHARDS, both of which will be published in 2005.
