John Frieda is a hugely successful British celebrity hairdresser of Polish-Jewish descent who built up a multi-million pound fortune from hair salons and hair products on the back of his reputation.

Frieda currently lives in New York City. In 1995 he divorced his wife of 20 years, the acclaimed Scottish singer Lulu. They have an actor son, Jordan Frieda.
