[edit] Controversy
In 2001, the school's hockey team enrolled an OHL draft player, which was a violation of the league rules. The school was therefore banned from the league for 5 years ending in 2006. However, due to a lack of suitable players, and teachers for coaching, no team was created.[citation needed]
