John Francis Cronin

Father John Francis Cronin, S.S. a Roman Catholic priest and a vocal opponent of Communism during the McCarthy era. He was Assistant Director of the Department of Social Action for National Catholic Welfare Conference, and served as liaison between the FBI and Richard Nixon (himself a House Committee on Un-American Activities member).

He authored the book Communism: A World Menace.
