John Engh

John Engh (born June 5, 1915 in New York City - died 1996), was a Norwegian architect, known for his innovative work in stone and concrete. His designs include the American embassy in Oslo, Oslo Central Station, and several offices buildings.

Engh was educated at ETH Zürich and the Norwegian Institute of Technology, and had apprenticeships at various architectural firms in Oslo, Barcelona, and Pittsburgh before being hired as an architect with the Royal Norwegian Air Force at CFB Borden in Canada. He also worked for the United States government on reconstruction projects during the war years.

Upon returning to Scandinavia, he briefly worked for SAS in Stockholm before moving to Oslo where he started his own firm that joined in partnership with Per Qvam.
