John Edwards (Technology Writer)

John Edwards (born 21 November 1954, in New York City) is an American technology writer.
Edwards has written for various print and online publications, including The New York Times, The Washington Post, MSNBC, The Philadelphia Inquirer, Newsday, CFO Magazine, CIO Magazine, Men's Health, and American Way (American Airlines' in-flight magazine).
He is currently a columnist for The Economist's Economist Intelligence Unit and PricewaterhouseCoopers' Telecom Direct News. Edwards' articles and columns have also appeared in Oracle Magazine, Cisco iQ Magazine, Electronic Business, Electronic Design, Upside, Laptop Magazine, Mobile PC and PC Magazine. He is a former contributing editor to both PC Week and MacWeek.
Edwards is the author of several books, including The Law Office Guide to Small Computers (1984, Shepard's/McGraw-Hill), Leveraging Web Services (2003, AMACOM), Telecosmos (2004, John Wiley & Sons), and The Geeks of War (2005, AMACOM).
