John Drew (September 3, 1827 – May 21, 1862) was an American actor and was related to the Barrymore family.

[edit] Early life
Born Jonathan Henry Drewland in Dublin to Thomas L. Drew (August 7, 1794 - April 8, 1876) and Louise Kanten (January 17, 1796 - March 25, 1879), he was the fifth of sixth children. After moving to the United States, John Drew use to see theatre plays and musical plays, he wished he'ed be in one one day. So that is what happened Drew got a job of theatre plays by Joseph J. Johlen (the theatre manager).

While John visited Philadelphia, he was 34-years-old at the time.
