John F. Donnellan (born 27 March 1937) is a former Irish Fine Gael party politician who served for nearly thirty years in Dáil Éireann.
Donnellan was first elected to the 17th Dáil as a TD for Galway East in the December 1964 by-election caused by the death of his father Michael Donnellan. He was re-elected in the next eight general elections, for various constituencies in County Galway, until he retired at the 1989 general election.
In the 24th Dáil, when Taoiseach Garret FitzGerald led a Fine Gael–Labour Party coalition government, Donellan was appointed as a Minister of State, first at the Departments of Transport and Posts and Telegraphs, and then at the Department of Health.
Like his father before him, John Donnellan won All-Ireland medals with the Galway senior football team in the 1960s. His son, Michael also won All-Ireland medals with Galway in 1998 and 2001.
