John Custer

John Custer is a record producer who produced several Corrosion of Conformity albums including Blind (1991), Deliverance (1994), Wiseblood (1996) and America's Volume Dealer (2000). [1]

He also developed bands from his hometown of Raleigh, North Carolina. The bands were Cry Of Love and Dag. Both were signed to Columbia Records. Cry Of Love's single "Peace Pipe" (produced by Custer) went to #1 in Billboard's Rock Radio Chart. "Bad Thing" co-written by Custer went to #2.

He produced Corrosion of Conformity's track "Drowning In A Daydream" which was nominated for a Grammy. He also produced, wrote and co-wrote songs that appeared in four major motion pictures. COC's Blind disc was named one of The 25 Most Influential Metal Records Of The Last 25 Years by CREEM Magazine.
