John Congleton

John Congleton is best known as a producer who made a name for himself in the alternative rock underground via production of his own band, The Paper Chase, and for artists such as the The Polyphonic Spree, Modest Mouse, Kirk Franklin, Explosions in the Sky, R. Kelly, The Mountain Goats, Erykah Badu, The Roots, 90 Day Men, Autopilot Off, Black Tie Dynasty, Bono (U2), We Ragazzi, Two Ton Boa, Chin up chin up, and The Appleseed Cast. Congleton's production is usually notable by a signature dark sound and a rhythm section that is high in the mix. He continues to be managed by Adam Katz of Tsunamni Entertainment in Los Angeles.

In addition to his production work Congleton still continues to front the indie rock band, The Paper Chase, and write music for various projects. Some of which most notable would be MTV's Jackass, Discovery channel, and several Halloween sound effects/music CDs.
