John Capo

John Capo is a theater director and playwright. He has directed the off Broadway New York productions of Terrence McNally's "It's Only A Play", the Pulitzer Prize-winning drama, "The Subject Was Roses" and The Vagina Monologues. He is the author of "Tricks of the Trade" and fourteen other plays.

Capo is a native of Brooklyn, New York and a graduate of the dramatic writing program at Purchase College where he studied with Lloyd Richards.

As an actor, Capo has appeared off Broadway in "Tony 'n' Tina's Wedding" and on Comedy Central's Upright Citizens Brigade.
