John Bowe (born 16 April 1954) is an Australian touring car driver and V8 supercar champion.

John bowe is one of Australia's most successful touring car racers.
[edit] Dick Johnson Racing
John Bowe's first race was in 1988 in a V8 Supercar and he raced for Dick Johnson Racing from 1988-1998 with two bathurst 1000 victories and a maidien championship victory in 1995.

John Bowe moved on to Cat Racing in 1999 but after a promising debu season he left at the end of 2001 in favour of young gun Simon Wills.

From 2002-2006 Bowe and new teammate Brad Jones had mixed fortunes. Bowes best result was a strong 3rd placing at the 2004 bathurst 1000 with Brad Jones. Bowe left at the end of 2006 in favour of Andrew Jones for Paul Crookshank Racing.

In Mark 2007 John Bowe broke the record for most championship races started when he started at Barbagellow. His race was marred buy his accident prone nature haveing two spins but he still tryed hard not to crash.

John is married to Lauraine and has 3 children James & Nikolas (20), Alexander (15) and lives in melbourne. he lists his hobbies as Cars, Fitness, Food, Wine.
