John Bosman

Johannes ("John") Jacobus Bosman (born February 1, 1965 in Bovenkerk) is a former football striker from The Netherlands, who played thirty matches for the Netherlands national football team in which he scored seventeen goals. He was a member of the Dutch team that won the European title at the 1988 European Football Championship in West Germany.

Nicknamed "Bossie", he started his professional career with Ajax Amsterdam (1983-88), then moved to KV Mechelen (1988-90), PSV Eindhoven (1990-91), Anderlecht (1991-96), and FC Twente (1996-99). Bosman ended his career at AZ Alkmaar (1999-2002).
