John Benjamin Dancer

John Benjamin Dancer (October 8, 1812 - November 24th, 1887) was a scientific instrument maker and inventor of microphotography. He also pioneered stereography. By 1835, he controlled his fathers instrument making business. He made various inventions but did not receive many patents on the numerous advaces. In 1852, he invented the stereoscopic camera (GB patent 2064/1852). He died at the age of 75 and was buried at Brooklands Cemetery, Sale, Cheshire.
