John Avanzini is an American televangelist and "Word of Faith" Bible teacher who preaches a message of financial prosperity.

Central to his teachings are that Jesus and his followers were rich and that the believer is promised wealth.[1]

Another central teaching, and one common to the whole Word-Faith movement, is that believers can gain financial blessing by "sowing a seed" into his ministry, for which they will be rewarded one-hundredfold in kind. He calls this "the hundredfold release" or the "hundredfold blessing".[2]
