John Arbuthnot, 6th Viscount of Arbuthnott

John Arbuthnot, 6th Viscount of Arbuthnott (c. 1703–April 20, 1791 was the son of John Arbuthnot of Fordoun, (son of Robert Arbuthnot, 2nd Viscount of Arbuthnott).
He married by contract, firstly, Mary Douglas, on 16 April 1740.
He married by contract, secondly, Jean Arbuthnot, on 4 July 1749 and had several children including:
- Hon. Robert Arbuthnot (before 1754–1 August 1785)
- John Arbuthnot, 7th Viscount of Arbuthnott (25 October 1754–27 February 1800)
