John Anderson, Jr.

John Anderson Jr., born on May 8, 1917, in Olathe, Kansas, was the Republican governor of Kansas from 1961 until 1965. After leaving the Governor's office, Anderson retired to his native Olathe, where he currently resides.

K-10 (Kansas highway) in Johnson County, Kansas is named in Anderson's honor.
