John Adams (born 27 July 1946 in Port Arthur, Ontario) was a professional ice hockey player in the National Hockey League.

John Adams played only 22 games in the NHL. In 1972-73, he played 14 games for the Boston Bruins sporting a 3.00 goals against average with 9 wins, 3 losses, and 1 tie. He next played in the NHL for the Washington Capitals two seasons later in 1974-75. This season saw him appear in 8 games, losing 7 and winning none with a 6.90 goals against average.
