DR. JOHANNES MAAS International President of Worldwide Faith Missions. He holds 5 earned degrees, including an M. Ed. and doctoral status from the University of Pittsburgh. He has served as White House advisor, and met with several world leaders. He is a noted convention speaker, and has appeared on many TV programs, including the 700 Club and 100 Huntley Street. He has offices in Akron, Ohio, Jomtien Beach, Thailand, and offices throughout India. Worldwide Faith Missions was founded by Dr. Johannes Maas in 1972, following a world tour for World Missions. Having spoken to a convention in India attended by 10,000 people, and seeing so many starving children, homeless widows, and sacrificial pastors and evangelists laboring under great difficulties and little support, he pledged to sponsor 25 homeless children, to be operated by a respected pastor. From this humble beginning, the outgrowth has been the establishment of over 25 orphanages. Thousands of children have been reared in the Homes, and are respected citizens contributing to the progress of their villages and their country. Dr. Maas continues his pioneer work, starting new Children's Homes in needy areas. WORLDWIDE FAITH MISSIONS is a non-profit organization, building and operating children's homes in India for 32 years.
